Cedars Residential Home registered manager is Mandy Timmins who has many years experience in the care industry.
All of the care staff have undergone mandatory training, and most have attended courses and received certificates in Health and Hygiene for Food Handlers, First Aid and Manual Handling. Some carers have undergone training for Dementia and Challenging Behaviour.

Our Registered Manager, Mandy Timmins, also has the following training: People Handling & Risk Assessment Key Trainer, Safeguarding of Adults Trainer, A1 NVQ Assessors Award, Dealing with Conflict, Confrontation & Disputes, Dementia Awareness, Health & Safety, Risk Assessment & Control, Infection Control, Skills for Care Medication Set, Statutory Disciplinary & Grievance Procedures, Mental Health Awareness, Mental Capacity Act.

We are constantly researching new courses for our staff and their training is ongoing. As a result, Cedars Residential Home offers a standard of care that is recognised and appreciated by both residents and their families.
